Her hair and nails can’t be redone every week unfortunately she gets a style for both and sticks with it for about a month to two and unfortunately she doesn’t have a hobby

Another viable option but my tank is only a little over a year old and I waited some time to add corals so they’re only recently taking off not enough to frag though but this is my second tank since i upgraded to my new system since the 1st one I felt was to small for what I had envision after seeing some corals I didn’t hear about when I set up the 1st tank so I wasted a good 2-3 months at 1st

Also it’s not really about the cost to her it’s more the space and changes to the area and the frequency and distance to get said things sometimes I just window shop at lfs

Just say it benefits you both. She gets free, relaxing entertainment by looking at the tank. You could also tell her "If I buy this coral, you can go buy x ).

I also like the strategy of giving the wife some wine... and then more wine... and then ask her to help me pick corals
