Hi, i'm new to this zoa club and does anyone have tips for keeping zoas and other softies. also can u include pictures cuase i like looking at them.
thks, all help is appreciated
77, before I do any of that could you give a bit of background about your experiences. Are you compeletly new to the hobby. Do you have a set up already or are you in the planning stages. Its a whole lot easier to point in the right direction with a clean slate than with a cobbled collection of parts that so many of us usually start with.
If you are completely new I would suggest hitting a couple of the good books such as Eric Boreman's coral husbandry book or The successful reef aquarium by Knop (plenty of other good ones that I have omitted)
once we are speaking the same lanuage then advice for these guys will make a lot more sense now and long term.
as far as pics check out zoa id.com
get back with us about where you are in terms of the hobby and we can get you pointed in the right direction

Welcome zoaaddict, a good over all book like Dave said is a invaluable resource, you could also check out the conscientious marine aquarist by Robert Fenner....And as far as pics go here is a link that has about 2000 pics.... http://club-zoa.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11
well i'm not completely new, before setting up my tank i took like 6 months to research and read books. i have a 60 gallon reef tank with halides and actinics that just finished cycling, i know i have to wait longer to get corals. i'm just trying to learn from experienced ppl.
