I have an orange pavona and it is slowly bleaching my parameters are as follows
Ph. 8.0
Dkh 9.6
Ca 430ppm
Mg 1300
Sg 1.025
Temp 77
It is receiving moderate flow and direct light. Any advice will help

The Midas blenny is pointing to it in the pic

What intensity are you running the Kessil at. Generally most pavona can take higher light but I've seen a few that will get really pale under higher lighting and lower nutrients. Any close up pics?

I have the same piece under both Kessils and another one under AI Prime HD. Seems like at the depth from the picture yours is right about where mine are. Running both brands of LEDs around 55%. My guess is low nutrients. Maybe try spot feeding reef roids after lights out.

Thank for the advice, I had a similar thought and had given the daily doses of Red Sea reef energy (amino acids and vitamins) I’ll spot feed it with reef Roids tonight and see if it helps.

I would say too much light, my frag is still on a rack, I have never run them but that is a lot of light even at 55% imo.

I lowered the light to 45% intensity, I’m hoping that will help. Thanks for the input if y’all have any other tips on it’s care I’m always happy to learn more. I’m new to sps and want to know all I can.

P. maldivinesis doesn't like a lot of light, Id place it further down in your tank.
