Hey I'm new to this forum, I've been reading through reef2reef for a long time but never joined in. I'm hoping you guys can help me get things in order.
I have a tank that is 65x30x24. I want to run totally sps. In currently using a 60" 4x80w T5 + 4x75w LED, ATI LEDpower module. This is obviously not giving me the coverage I need.
My problem is I want a 10 bulb ati powermodule but they don't make them anymore, nor do they make Sfiligoi stealth fixtures anymore. I purchased the led powermodule for a deal thinking I'm going to do LPS with some SPS, then I fell in love with sps and changed my mind after it was all done.
I can't fit two 6 bulb sunpowers under it because they will just fit and it'll look crammed. I also, don't know if an 8 bulb sunpower will suffice.
I was also thinking of doing a metal halide t5 combo but they don't make a fixture for my tank that isn't ugly. (Since my tank is rimless)
I was also thinking of retrofitting a floating canopy with some t5s and halides but that would be a last last LAST resort.
I'm not sure of how much light I need and if an 8 bulb would really do the trick
