it's going to die. Your tank needs to be at least 6 months old and stable to support an anemone.

Unfortunately it looks like its on its way out.

How old is your tank?

What are your parameters?

What lights do you use?

My tank is only about a month old and i use the lights that have 4 different settings for different lightings like a day cycle and night one but idk what it is and its a 15 gallon but is moving to a 65 70 in a few months

Also it has closed back up and now looks like this. And what can i do for it forward

The pic didn't show up but with such a new tank they don't do very well.

They need light for food and most 15g stock lights aren't suitable for corals.

I went and bought extra leds for the tank for extra light and ill try and resend picture

If you bought it from a lfs I would return it. Your tank is too young and your lighting is insufficient to keep an anemone Alive

Can you pickup a piece of live rock for the nem to help it during a new tank? They tend to like established tanks

A piece of live rock will not make the tank establish or help the nem.

Okay thank you all i will try and bring it back to the pet store its only about an hour and a half away. Thank you all very much id like to get to the point of being able to care for one but not too sure how to get there cuz the lady there told me it should be fine.

Everyone said I couldn’t keep a BTA in a newly cycled tank and almost two years later they are doing great. Live rock for it could only help and not hurt in this position. Yes I would find a new home in this position but if he can’t it’s worth a try

Lfs stores often lie just to make a money.

IMO What may worked for you may not work for others. Better to play it safe and wait

I made the same mistake with a 2 month old tank. Just part of the learning process. At least you only put one in... I had two and I felt super bad.

I’ve read and it’s been confirmed by folks here that you want to wait until the tank is fully finished cycling and your water parameters are stable for at least a few months before adding a nem.

Can’t wait to see more pics of your tank as it matures. ❤️
