Hi I need help figuring out flow in my reef aquarium. I have a reefer 425 xl which is a 4 foot tank and I have 2 mp 40s it’s going to be a mixed reef with like a 10% soft corals 60% lps and 30% sps maybe 40%. I would like to know where I should put the pumps and what percent and what like mode. Thank you any help is thankful. I included a picture of my tank.

Hi. Welcome to the hobby!
Right now, as long as you don't have dead spots where detritus builds up, and you don't have super high flow spots where the sand is gone, you're fine. As you buy and place coral in the tank, then you can move or adjust the flow if needed. There is no one size fits all answer.
Good luck!

2 mp40s is a lot of potentially a lot flow for a 4’ tank. Congrats!!! With time keep an eye on hitting your lps with too much. And your softies with too much that they’re bumping other corals, they release toxins. Best to keep them separate from other corals.
