Hey guys - I’ve been running my 25g with fish for about 3 weeks now, and I know this is a stupid question but I don’t know when to turn my lights on and off. On one website I saw someone say to have your white light on during the day and your blue light on at night, meaning your light is always on, however what I’ve been doing is just keeping the white light on in the day, and just turning it off at night, occasionally using the blue light. Can anyone tell me if I’m doing this right/wrong? Total light time is probably around 10 hours.

Second question - sorry xD.

Right now I have a baby bubble too anemone that my clownfish sometimes go in, however I would love to buy a new one. However I’m not sure if I would need a better light in order to get another anemone so here’s a photo of my light. Thank you!

Light period should be based on your personal preference. You want it on when you're home to enjoy your tank. Your tank's also need to sleep like the rest of us. So no reason to keep it on 24h/day.
I kept mine on for about 10 hrs during the time that I am around the most. The rest of the time it's totally off. Oh, my sump lights is on the reversed cycle.

As for your current light, it doesn't appeared to be a good light for anemone, at best for soft corals or fish only. Looks like a very low power led. You will need get a better light for your anemone.

Many reef inhabitants required periods of darkness (at rest) so a consistent period should be employed.
Corals love the blue spectrum for its photosynthetic process and some small amounts of green/red are beneficial. White is just for “seeing” in the glass box and you should mix in enough white to your taste.
Some light naturally (intense and bright, lots of white) some like the more windex look.
If your not keeping corals, it don’t matter much
Some like to turn the blues on first and go off last as the blues, make corals pop. Sometime after the blues come on, you mix in the whites for say 7-9 hours) then off, then say an hour later the blues go off, then total dark until next cycle....consistency is everthing....
