know where it came from till i looked at the hosing and noticed all kind of junk was inside it. Is there a different type of hose i need to you and what is growing inside my hose.

Algae loves to grow in high flow areas. Does a light shine on the hose? Things need to be cleaned out every six months or so. Also that can't be the only place there's excess algae?

Fluval makes a set of brushes you can tie fishing line to and run back and forth through the tubing to lean it out, work great. I tie a piece of line on it with a weight attached then feed it down from the top.

If you need to use a flexible tubing, you can look for black tubing so light won't get inside to grow algae. Otherwise you will just need to clean it out a little more often. There are a lot of pipe cleaner brushes out there that work great.

yea it not algae cause when i turn my pump back in white stuff flies out of my return. and my Phosphates are 0 i have no other algae in the tank. and the only light is my refugium light on 6 hours at night

Black hose solves alot of those issues. With clear line light gets in and grows gunk. Black doesn't allow the light in.
