You should try to see if there are any hardy strains in your area. I know in our area there is one that's been going and fragged many times over a decade. The elegance corals that are wild tend to have some sort of elegance disease that tends to kill them from what I've read at least.

best thing you could do is dip it in coralRx and hope for the best.

I've read lugols helps but not sure if elegance corals can take that stuff well.

Thanks for all the advice but it's not looking to good. Might have to put it in a holding tank until it dies. I can't take a living organism out and just chuck it away.
