I have been pretty inactive on R2R Lately. I had worn myself thin trying to keep multiple tanks going, helping people with fish disease, even treating fish for others at my house! There was a point in time I had about 400 gallons in my basement spread across 6 fish QT's and then two displays upstairs along with a coral QT System as well totaling around 350 gallons in DT's. I also own a business and employ 35 people unrelated to the aquarium industry (Construction) that is very time consuming during our peak season.

I had a red sea 425XL that was a full blown SPS system that without notice my water company decided to wreck for me when they changed chemicals to treat our water. So when that crashed and I lost thousands in coral I was pretty disheartened and frustrated with reefing as a whole. All the craziness at work, with the year 2020 in general, etc I had to take a step back. Unfortunately I let my 750XXL get into pretty bad shape as well. Dinos, GHA, you name it. My good friend @revhtree talked me off the ledge and with much help from Rev I have got my 750 back into great shape and I am ready for some COLOR! I am going to add easy corals that don't require dosing or anything that requires rigorous testing and monitoring. I want a colorful reef with explosive color. I am going to get some Zoas from @joshporksandwic some day soon hopefully! Thankfully I still have all of my beloved beautiful fish and they are healthy as ever. I just need to add some color to the landscape! So what do you recommend??? Lets see it and have some fun with this one!

IMO you and I need to ditch our doo doo brown polyps that take over before buying corals. Maybe trade most of our rock with what is in the 500G (coral free) and start over or with coral we have that isn’t Encumbered by these nasty things!

A fish in my 500 eats them, not sure which, but when I put them in there they were quickly gone! That’s an idea too, just need to know WHO

I wonder if heavy dosing of that gets rid of my doo doo browns, I am SHOCKED you were able to get rid of them. They're covering 40% of my sand bed!!

Some good bang for your buck corals that get big and cool and don't require dosing or testing are toadstool leathers.

Here are green polyp and regular ones of mine. I'm not a good photographer, btw.
