I need information after total tank crash

So long story short I lost everything when moving three weeks ago...I mean everything! Only survivors were my pair of picassos I'm setting up a new tank this weekend. Here's the question. I pulled all Rock from the tank holding everything and moved it to a bin with fresh saltwater. Added a pump and heater and threw a light on. If I use that rock should I have issues (assuming crash was contaminated container used to move water) and what type of cycle will I see? All new sand and mostly new rock. Just want to seed with existing rock

What caused the initial crash? Assuming it isn't anything that can be transferred by the rock, you should be fine....other than seeing the normal cycle, which should move along pretty quickly since you are seeding with existing rock.

Appreciate it. Can only assume that something was in one of the jugs I was using. Not bleach or a chemical. Just lost everything in 24 hours.
