darn right, makes colors POP. No joke i now see some colors that were hidden with PC lights.
What bulbs are you running? IMO ATI are what I'd go with. I saw a huge difference when I replaced my stock bulbs with ATI. To echo another post on here, 2 blue+, 1 purple+, and an aquablue special will give you an awesome look.
Its tough to get good advice from a lfs sometimes, but you've got a wealth of knowledge here. Before I make a move on anything I take advantage of all of the info here. You have to make informed decisions in this hobby or you'll lose a ton of money. Trust me I was in your shoes when I first started out and I made quite a few costly mistakes at the advice of my lfs. I would skip the T5 and go LED, plenty of retrofit kits out there for cube tanks...
