I'm looking for some movement in my IM 25 Lagoon.

My aquascape allows for a huge swimming column but I don't have fish that love to swim. I currently have 2 clowns and a PJ cardinal. The clowns spend all their time in my Duncan coral, and the PJ barely moves. The problem is I don't have a lid so I have limited selection for a new fish. Also I need more movement from corals, as I currently only have several leather corals, zoas and other lower light corals and my duncan.

What are some good corals, and fish for movement.

Potential Thoughts

Pink Streaked Wrasse (No lid though)
Flame Hawk?? (Might be too small of a tank and have a fire shrimp but he's 2.5"
Maybe some Gobies (Again no lid)
Royal Gramma

Not sure about what corals I would want, not too difficult ones but, they need to be flowy.

Thanks!

Azure damsel or possum wrasse

Thanks for the suggestions, will a damsel be too aggressive or more passive because they have been added last, and the clowns are more established?

Also love a possum wrasse
One should be good. I have yellow tails with my benghi and a cinnamon clown and have never noticed an issue. Azure are even more docile.

Good flowing corals Kenya trees, green star polyps, pulsing xenia, nice tree like structure are finger leathers. All are very easy. The first 3 can be invasive.

Those do sound like some nice corals, I have area where those corals can be more secluded so they don't have as much space to spread. Thanks for the suggestions!

Not a problem

Corals/nems: Frogspawn, torches, pipe organs, xenias, bubble tip anemones.

Fish: wrasses, clownfish, falco hawkfish, blennies, watchman gobies, dartfish.

Those are my suggestions. Also you can probably get a lid somewhere. Or make a DIY lid.

If you're looking for fish to fill you water column, a flame hawk will not do that. They lack a swim bladder, so mostly perch themselves on rocks, and only swim when moving from one rock to the other. That's not to say that they will never be in your water column, but 95% of the time, they will be sitting on a rock.

My suggestion would be the royal gramma.

Torches and frogspawn are quite nice looking coral.

I do love flames and I definitely agree they are more personality fish then swimmers, royal gramma seems like a really good option for my tank.

They are a gorgous fish but not really an open. Water swimmer in my tank. They will be like the others come out and hang around a point in the tank. For movement azure damsel or a possum wrasse of you are looking for side to side and through swim holes
