I Need Rasta's

lol, they grow so slow...

if you dont find them in six months or so, i might be able to handle that.

shoot Marv a PM, he might be able to handle that.

I wish I could Steve... I'm left with about 12 polyps..

3rd in line!
There was some one ebay and I completely forgot to bid. 5 polyps sold for 112.00!! Not that it means anything now, just thought I would share the frustration!\.

If someone can give me some tips on fragging them, I may be able to help. There is so little actual polyp it is hard to cut :).

I can come by next week and frag them for you if you need me to.

shoot me a snap shot of it so i know what im getting myself into.

Thanks Jr, but I would like to actually figure out how to do it myself at some point. Do you typically use a band saw for these guys? I plan to do a lot of fragging this weekend, so I will probably make an attempt on them as well.

nope, i got to lowes and buy the sleeve of 100 straight razors and use those. Cut between the polyps, and the dig under them as best you can, and they usually pop off.

I love my dremel. I bought the cordless one 10.7V and it is awsome. I cut the rock or plug they are on from the back and then I cut the tissue with a razor blade like junior mentioned buy the sleeve of a hundred; as soon as you get salt water on them the blade will start to rust/ tarnish. I bought the diamond blade and the quick change shaft and the larger blade. this way I have a small blade for detail cuts and a larger one for the bigger pieces. I got the drill bit with diamonds but havn't tried it yet.

Depending on shipping costs and the offer, I might be willing to trade a Purple Hornet for some Rasta's.

I agree. thats the best way to go about it, then you are able to keep them attached to a littl ebit of rock. I typically use a scalpel.
