Okay! So, I have completed my 125 build, which includes (3) Hydra 32 HD.

I am at the point where I am ready to begin moving my corals and Anemones into the new build, but, since the Hydras are so much more powerful, I want to begin with a low intensity.

My plan is to start with lighting at 10% and increase by 10% on a weekly basis until I get to 50%. Then monitor for a month.

From there, I will continue making weekly adjustments based on observation until I find the sweet spot.

I know AI has an "acclimation mode", but, I'd rather do it myself.

Suggestions?

Sounds like a good plan.
It might help if you let us know what your current lights are.

This particular build will be housing my inhabitants from a 40 long. I am using Current USA 24-36" Orbit IC Pro, which has 74 watts total for both fixtures combined. I have (2) for a total of 4 fixtures and 148 watts.

This was a good choice for the 40 because tank depth was only 12 inches, but inadequate for the 125 which is 20 inches deep and the LOOP fixtures lack the penetration.
