I need some leather Coral help

What just happened to my leather Coral it was a text to some rock not too long ago I removed the Rock and broke it in half and place the leather cord back in the tank in the sand and then this happened is like a split but it stll look like its opening still it's split into pieces

2 question is should I get rid of this BTA bubble tip anenome it look like its dead but it don't got a smell to it and it move a little

There is so much blue in your lighting it’s a bit hard to tell what is going on; you might try so white-light photos. But if that one photo shows two pieces of a Leather sitting in the bottom, I would lightly timber and them to some rocks in an area of moderate flow and let them reattach themselves.
