About a month ago I got rid of my tang gang because 90% of them outgrew my 220gal. I am now on the hunt for new fish as my tank “looks” bare haha.

Here are some quick tank specs...

~ 60”x36”x24” display
~ 1” sand bed - medium to coarse substrate
~ mixed reef
~ Sort of a minimalist rock scape(I’ll take some close up pics this evening)

Current stocking...

~ 3.5” purple tang
~(2) clownfish
~(2) yellow tail damsels(I know I know, but they’ve been with me for awhile)
~ pajama Cardinal
~ firefish
~ mandarin(about 3.5”)

~ coral banded shrimp
~ brittle star
~ a few hermits
~ a few snails

Any suggestions are welcome, even if they were part of my original tang gang.

But please take note of my current stocking and compatibility.

Thanks!

You look like you are in need of some wrasses. I recently got a carpenters flasher and a ruby head fairy and they are really cool fish. Your sand bed looks kinda thin but it could just be because the tank is so large. If you have a thick enough sand bed, a lot of the Halichoeres wrasses are cool.
Im also really fond of my starry blenny, a lot of personality.
Edit: saw you said a 1” sand bed, I don’t think that enough for a sand dwelling wrasse.

one spot Foxface (nice and big)
lyretail Anthias (can keep multiple)
can always try school of Chromis (I can never keep a school but some folks are able)
