Hi everyone. I am looking to get new led's. I have a 30 gallon reef aquarium..I currently have a 2ray white lights and a t8 actinics. I have noticed that my sunny ds and good her zoas are not as vibrant as they were at my lfs..I know this is probably because my lights aren't enough..I wanna get some full spectrum lighting...any opinions..

It depends on your budget and what you plan to keep. For low end LEDs Mars Aqua are good. Kessels are a great mid priced light but don't get great coverage if you want to upgrade to a larger tank. Radion Pros are the best of the best. A T5/LED combo would give you great par and coverage as another thought.

you wont know what enough is without a meter. And dont trust your eyes. Color is also and indicator of nutrients in the system. Any Idea what the LFS had?
you have 2 fuller spec light in there and 2 actinics already. if its a budget thing pull an actiniic and get a 420 or super blue.

Unless you just want new LEDS. thats cool too. Id go reef breeders or SBreeflights. 32in.

Do you guys have any of those lights? If do can you add pictures so I can see the color of the corals? Please

I run MH/T5 myself over my frag tank. My display has a really poor LED that I never should have bought. I will be upgrading to MH when I can afford the upgrade.

OK..that that should be an efficient amount of light

FWIW I currently have Mars Aquatics, Galaxy Hydro, AI Prime, and a newly purchased SBReef light 32". Out of the four i would Highly recommend the AI, or the SBReef Light, I am very happy with both color and intensity of two lights one thing about the SB though I am currently running it at less than 40%, with great Par readings. Both the Mars and the Galaxy pro really didn't satisfy my corals and after a year they both started losing a lot of there intensity, and simply my corals started losing PE and color. now My AI prime I have been running for about a year now and my tank loves it and I gotta say I love the control ability of the fixture great coloration and easy to use. Just my 0.02 cents.

Dang. Great review. I keep coming back to the SB..Dollar for dollar it seems the best. The Mars pack a lot(or the same) of firepower too, but with Meh spectrum and no guarantees.
Thank ya Cowboy!

This is why we are all here right to share are experience and to help out where we can, and for sure dollar for dollar the SB is a great light. If you are on a budget as we most are I would stick with the SB.

I also have a sb reef light I love it. For the price and the capabilities you can't beat it. I've noticed better growth for my zoas and also noticed less algae growth. I wouldn't seriously consider them.
