What other livestock you you have in the tank? Most fish that would eat sponges would also eat corals.

Another thing to note, most sponges will die off on their won after a while, almost like mold. So you may have a lot of the sponge one day, but then the next da there's nothing. Also, most fish that would eat sponge wouldn't target it specifically, more as a side effect of an active grazing habit.

Other than large angels, nothing else will eat. You can cut away, expose to air or inject with vinegar

It’s been months of them slowly growing out of control. I don’t think they’ll die haha.

at first I thought they were just part of the Zoas but now they’re being smothed and it’s spread

5g tank so fish generally won’t work

Nothing else that I know of will eat sponges actively then. What are you using as top off for the tank? If you're using tap water, silicates within the water can often fuel sponge growth pretty strongly. For such a small tank, it wouldn't be that big of an investment to just guy a gallon of distilled water every one and a while for top off.

Kalk paste on them. Careful not to get it on corals you want to keep.
