So quick tank info
Reefer 170
Radion xr30 pro (30% or so)
2x mp10wqd
Nyos skimmer
Dose 12ml daily of triton (type you dilute with water)

Lps and zoas are no problem. Really good growth on both. Clams same thing.... then there's sps. With the exception of montis I can't get them to go. I recently took my chaeto off line to try and add a bit of nitrates and phos to the tank. Both were at 0 before. Could I had some type of pest? I can't see red bugs but I'm at the age that I'm lucky if I can see what I'm trying to read! If all acros are out of the tank but you still have montis will this starve out the redbugs? I'm just at a loss. Parameters are steady. Alk around 8.5 cal 420 mag 1350-1400. I have an upgrade coming as soon as I move this week to a 70 gallon cube. I'm hoping the larger water volume will help with chemistry. Anyone have thoughts?

If nitrates and po4 is at zero that would be a reason. They need some no3 and po4. I am battling that now myself.

I just started adding some of the redsea product... it's an amino and something for color. I've been thinking about putting my skimmer on a timer too. As for flow... the 2 mp10s aren't enough in a 34 gallon tank? I have a nero arriving today as well for the new tank

Red bugs may cause an irritation with polyps, but I had decent growth years back when I had them (till I dosed interceptor).

How well is coraline algae growing?

Coraline grows really well. If I didn't scrape windows it would take over!

if all is perfect then just FEED often, fish waste is all the nutrients you need. So feed feed feed your fish

Sps is funny sometimes. They like some no3 and po4. My tank is about 3 month old. Same thing happened to me for about a month. Then all my sps started to shoot up. I have the same light. Slowly build up your no3 and po4 by feeding or dosing nitrate. My tank is young so feeding is not enough, I had to dose no3. Also recently I started using KZ sponge power and it helps micro funna growth. From my experience with sps. It’s seems everytime I have sponge growth on my rocks or sump they start to grow as well. Adjust things slowly. Can you post a pic of the tank?

I'll get a few pictures and updated tests tonight. Just really drives me crazy when I'm having great success with everything else!
