I need to raise my skimmer

I need to raise my skimmer 3 inches to get the correct water level for it to work. Have y’all seen any hacks to do this? Some bio media blocks, bricks, any ideas?

They sell some fancy skimmer stands with holes in them for airflow etc, 30-60 bucks come in all shapes and colors. Or use media blocks or something similar like you mentioned and would also have added filtration etc

In situations like this I’ve always used egg crate cut to size then zip tied pvc legs on it for height. Done this with skimmers for a few years now and works great and inexpensive as you can get materials from the hardware store!

the marine pure bio cubes, i believe are 2x2inches roughly, and they have a "plate" that about 8x1inches. both combined can give you the 3in you're looking for and serve as a good biofiltration.

if you don't want the added costs/benefits *for whatever reason), egg crate is definitely something that is widely and commonly used to raise skimmer depths.
