Alright so I made a mistake tonight and I need to know how to change the apex back to the default ip adddress to connect to my apex again I changed the ip address and I forgot it.

type 192.168.1.1 and log into your router, go to attached devices and see if you can see your Apex's IP there.

If you have the display...like the Apex Jr or full version, go to the Menu --> System --> Net Setup --> IP Address and it'll show you the IP. If you don't, and you can't figure out how to reset it, you can scan your local subnet for live IP addresses with some free applications like Angry IP Scanner. Put in the network of 192.168.1.0 and a subnet mask of either 255.255.255.0 or a 24 if it want it in CIDR form.

Ran Angry IP and it doesn't find the APEX. Any other thoughts?

You don't have the display for the Apex? Its possible that you fat fingered something on the first three octets of the address, therefore its not communicating on the same network as everything else you have. Take a look through the Unofficial Apex guide, I'm also doing some research to try to help you out.

I'm thinking there might be a way using the flash utility, but with the IP messed up, your PC would not be able to even do that. My suggestion would be to contact Neptune about it to see if there is a easy way to rest, as I'm not sure without the display. They generally response fairly quickly on their sponsor forum on RC, or you can call/email them. I've heard nothing but great things about their customer server.

Is there any way I can totally clear the apex so I can start over totally?

I don't think there is a way without the display...at least that I'm familiar with. The display would solve ALL these problems, haha.

Someone Please throw any suggestions out there I need Ideas.
PLEASE!

You'll need to send that into Curt for service.
Not having that display is one problem, but not being able to access the device when connected to the network is the worse.

The default should be 192.168.1.1:60

Type this into your CMD prompt " ping 192.168.1:60 "
If there is a reply connect to the above IP through your browser.
When prompted for a password enter " admin/1234 " I believe that is default, I've since changed mine.

Next time you set it up, I'd advise using it on static IP's instead of DHCP if that's the case.
To prevent your external devices from resetting it's own IP's

Hope this helps. Your last resort would be Curt.
They're pretty backed up right now, last time I checked.
You're looking at around 2 weeks for service if the device is damaged.
