I made another thread about this but i haven't received much response. I found these guys in the keys about a month ago and I love them!! They were in less than a foot of water so I figured they need high light. I put them on the very bottom knowing how strong LEDs are and even that was too much so I put them in the shade and they changed in less than a day! I'm thinking about naming them key limes PEs. Any thoughts? Don't ask to buy any please I don't intend to ever sell these because that would be considered hyping and my thread will be closed. I however plan on doing a free frag thing like richieT did once they grow which they are right now! Here's a pic from today

We are going to need a better pic if you want an ID. Other than that, you can check CoralPedia and see if they have it there.

I'm not looking for an ID. I found these when I was snorkeling in the keys and brought them home and introduced them into my tank. Im just asking for help on if you think key limes is a good name or if you have any suggestions!

Great name and they still look great also. The only thing I would change is key to keys since you got them there making them keys lime pe's :)

the PE part of the name would only apply if they have a green mouth. I may have seen some of these while I was down there snorkeling before macna. They have great color!

I chose key because the florida keys are famous for their "key limes" or key lime pies!

They do have the green mouth, that's the best part! And I have pictures of them in the water so you could compare to see if they were the same!

I believe in his other thread on these lil guys th3 pic showed the green mouth. Sure wish I could see zoas in my backyard.lol

That's so awesome! I love PEs :) yeah when you get the pics loaded up send me one

Heres a pic of them in the wild. Too.lazy to post the thread link so I figured id just post them here!

These seem darker than the ones I saw. They look great! Nice find for sure.

How about "The Green Shallows" :nerd: I do like Key Limes since they were found in the Keys!! That's a Great idea to do a FS Thread like Richie, Like I told him I hope more people start doing that because it's a nice change compared to everyone charging $200pp for Palys/Zoas.. Once I have a few frags of my Palys/Zoas I'd like to do that as well.

are those rock anemones on that rock?????
Yes rob, remember haha you asked me if I could get those for you about a month ago. This is the same pic, just wanted to get some input on the new name, sorry to get your hopes up haha

I actually like that name... might have to consider it. Main reason I like key limes is to give it florida pride since most zoas are found in the pacific. And yeah I planned on doing that before richie but I swear he took my idea lol but im ecstatic that there are other people out there like me! I can understand charging a lot for chalice but zoas grow so fast and there are so many variations its crazy

I dnt mean to interrupt but lime margaritas? Key lime margaritas? Or if its taken do it in spanish?
