I only get algae on a frag

Why do I only get algae on a GSP frag that i have? I literally have not had an algae outbreak other than on this one and only frag- i don't get it.

If it was a water or nutrient problem, I would be getting algae everywhere right?

Anyone have any ideas?

consider yourself lucky. If you have no other algae in the tank then i would assume you dont have a water issue. It might just be leaching something off of that frag. I would just take it out, hit it with a toothbrush (aquarium use only toothbrush) in some waterchange water, and put it back. sounds like you're doing good.

Hmm, didn't think of it that way lol.

Yep, i guess i'll have to bring out the Winnie the pooh bear tooth brush again.
