Corals and invertebrates are in another tank .

It's been 4 weeks should I just polyfilter to take out copper?

Tank had issue with both marine velvet and ich...

Current survivals are blue tang six line wrasse and yellowtail damsels others are gone

I do not have chiller so sometime temp went higher which makes cycle faster I do not see tang scratches on the rock anymore. Should I? Or wait 2 more weeks?

Is there rock and sand in this tank? If so, they will be leaching copper pretty much forever now. Cuprisorb will take out the stuff in the water but not what’s already been absorbed.

Unfortunately , I think you made a wrong turn or got some bad advice on fixing your ich and velvet issues.

As mentioned above, it may be a struggle getting copper completely removed. You will need to do a series of large WCs and run carbon plus cuprisorb.

Hopefully I can take out copper Lfs store told me cupramine is better when it comes to removing and dosent leach into rocks compare to traditional coppers
Oh well

So you're more than likely going to have to turn this tank into your new Quarantine tank from here on out given the copper will probably have leeched into the silicone of your tank as well. Follow advice above to try and remove as much of it as possible and test regularly, you will not be able to add corals or inverts back if your tests are positive...

I guess.... I mean I was going to go bigger tank for my fishes anyway I'll think current tank as long term with better system qt. I feel like I should do for 2 more weeks for complete extinction for ich and velvet? Or as long as they look good I can stop? They say 6 week is good enough but I hate hate and hate to deal with this diseases.. from now on I even going to buy qt tank for corals and invertebrates
