My poor Naoko's Fairy Wrasse has had it bad in my tank. First something attached it then something chewed part of its top fin then I cleaned my glass and walked away for a few minutes without putting the screen back on and stepped on him. He is swimming good and eating this morning but I was totally freaked out last night

They are pretty resilient. I had a mccoskers jump out for about half an hour and was fine within a few hours. You may see some discoloration in the scales for a couple of weeks but they will recover.

Our flasher wrasse jumped out of the tank during one feeding and my husband didn't notice right away. About 5 minutes later we found it on the floor about 6 feet away and all the red color was gone, it was white! We put it back in the tank and he was breathing very heavily. He stayed hidden for a day and had heavy breathing, but after about 36 hours he started swimming around and was fine! Good luck!

It is amazing to me that they bounce back after that. Mine was pretty white too. He is back to normal now like nothing ever happened! I was depressed for days after it happened.
