I suspect my Clown is up to something ?

Hello, Below is a pic of Mr & Mrs Barnum. The pair have been living in this rock island for some time. So Mrs B has been moving sand around .Laying sideways swishing her tail & spitting sand. Now Mr B is pretty small & it's easy to see who wears the fins in this relationship. Also she has been more protective of the rock island than before.Is she up to something ?

There is a good chance, she is pretty big.
If you up the lighting schedule a tad and up the feedings (within reason) sometimes that will encourage clowns to spawn. My female gets a very rounded abdomen a couple days prior to a spawn. Then my Coral Beauty comes and eats all the eggs.

I'd say she is pretty thick but not rounded in the belly. I got these fish from a friend& have also seen them & their eggs. The usual happens to the eggs soon after. However Mrs Barnum is pretty protective at this time. ! LOL
In the pic she had just chased the CopperBand away.
