I think an eb832 went bad

One of my eb832 on my 2016 apex no longer works correctly. It doesn't provide power to any outlets. The lights are on, the outlet lights are on, I can see the EB in my apex and even have it updated to the lastest firmware. I've rebooted my apex even totally disconnected everything on the EB to shut it down and then reconnected. The small trip button on the back of the eb832 doesn't do anything and is not in the "tripped" state (the button is pushed in).

Any other ideas to try? It's out of warranty as it was the original EB that came with the 2016 apex. I have two other EBs working well so fortunately this isn't an emergency since I can run off the other two for now.

From what I've read, try unplugging it for 2 minutes, plug it back in, and re-update the firmware. Theres a guy on the neptune forums that was having a similar issue to your and he said it took him a couple tries of updating the firmware but it eventually took and everything's working fine now. Hope this helps

I updated during the initial setup and the system is telling me my firmware is current and will not let me try updating it again.

Check the EB832 module firmware on the Modules page, not the AOS version on the Network page.

I had this happen recently as well. I cannot fine the neptune thread that I referenced, but in my case the eb832 update was corrupted. In order to fix, I had to unplug eb832 and aquabus connecting the apex itself. I then had to use another power supply to turn on apex only. Cord not included but luckily I had one laying around that worked. Run the updates for eb832, while it's loading bar is progressing, plug in the aquabus to power eb832. This wiped corrupted files and worked fine for me.
