to do list:
sell carpet anemones as soon as possible
if i had time i go to my lfs and sell them this afternoon
and i learned every time ask everywhere the buy corals, fish and etc... then buy it

but for real, i was dumb when my lfs told me to buy them and they dont get that much big if i dont feed them

Anything for a quick buck.. don’t support that place and behavior.. they need to eat.. it’s like saying here buy this red ear slider turtle and keep it in this tiny bowl and don’t feed often... cruel. Just saying.. I’d be upset, but anyhow do what’s right - give away free if needed be Atleast they get a shot in a proper system.

You're fine! These are maxi minis (mini carpets) they get around 6 inches max and grow much slower. They still have a pretty nasty sting.

Just a heads up, he shouldn't be white try to give him some more light (they require high light) and feed a few different kinds of small meaty foods once or twice a week.

Even the best lfs’s have a vested interest in selling you things, so they are always going to (or you have to at least assume they’re going to) err on the side of selling you something vs not selling you something if the question of whether or not something is appropriate for your tank is in a grey area. And there are lfs’s that don’t really care if something is inappropriate for your tank, they’ll sell you whatever you want (even knowing that you don’t have an appropriate setup for that animal). You just have to be really careful, plan your tank out, and ask people who don’t have an interest in selling you things that have experience with whatever it is you’re curious about (for example, asking here).

They don’t get big and they don’t need to be fed. Good lighting and a stable environment is all they need
