Salt brand is an unknown as I purchase my water directly from the LFS.

Salinity is 1.026 but that is the salinity sold to my by my LFS.

Are you also purchasing your RO/DI water here for top off? Are you using an ATO or are you manually topping off with fresh water?

Not sure I follow your broken English but I hope you understand the difference between a gallon and a liter.

60 gallons compared to 55 liters (55 liters is ~14.5 gallons) is a pretty big difference (over 300%).

I have been in your shoes, but refused to quit. I have learned the hard way that getting accurate information is vital for success. Sounds like your LFS may be giving you wrong information. Over the years I have learned to trust one source for advice and direction. Call BRS or Marine Depot. These guys know reefing inside out. BRS have excellent YouTube videos. Don’t quit.

This is really the second go at a reef tank, with my first go ending in everything dead.

Round two after getting everything going I was ready to add new corals. '

• First purchases were some soft corals and Zoanthids, one large soft coral died.
• after waiting some months before buying corals again, I got some more soft corals and Euphilia.
• Last week all the Euphilia I had experienced. polyp bailout they are all screwed
• A few other LPS I had don't look good I doubt they will
  
  I test twice a week, water change regularly. I honestly feel I don't care anymore I just get upset looking at the tank, a follow LFS advice or online advice nothing ever works out the way I expect.
  
  I am not enjoying this hobby at this time and don't know where to go from here.
  
  I just feel nothing in this hobby has ever worked for me. Even my first two clownfish went to war and one killed the other.

stability if you can keep your calcium alk and mag in check along with salinity. just do regular water changes and dont overfeed . once youve mastered the basics you can move on. reed reed reed

I'd definitely not suggest pumping ALK up with low nutrients like that.

The course of action you've laid out makes perfect sense to me. Don't change too much at once. Feed some frozen.

Pick one or the other. I like a 7.5 dKH with non-detectable nitrate or phosphate. My system is phosphate-limited from a lot of carbon dosing (ZEOvit system), but naturally gets tons of nitrates, so I dose phosphate via ATO.

I would let your system naturally match your LFS, if you like their reefing philosophy.

At 11 dKH, I'm thinking they use the black bucket of salt (people here might agree?)

If they're selling saltwater, they're probably going with something with a more mainstream dKH, which means between their product and your tank, some process is elevating the dKH by a lot. I'm estimating the product they sell is 8 to 9.5 dKH, and you're at 11.5 dKH.

Call the LFS and ask what their display tank alkalinity and bucket water alkalinity are, or buy another bucket and test.
