12 days ago I received a Niger trigger. Which look like your look like it had flaky scales. 5 days later all fish had rapid breathing, no appetite. With some white on the clown and took out my 3 strip damsel.

Could it be ich?

Fungus?

Does it look like peeling skin? Or is it white spots?

Looks like velvet. It kills in days. I lost 300$ of fish in 3 days.

I agree, looks like velvet. Good luck during quarantine..

I can’t say I’m 100% certain there isn’t velvet present.

I can say I’m 100% certain brook is present. Clown definitely covered in brook.

can you post a more up close clear pic of the trigger? It looks like brook on the trigger as well.

I also think it's Brooke and what I've learned. Took out three clownfish in a friends tank. One Damsel in my tank. And the clown seems most affected by it.

Brooklynella on clown and Trigger. Begin with hyposalinity ( 1.023) OR Freshwater bath.
This is most often seen in clownfish, but it can affect any fish. The fish’s skin will appear to be peeling or sloughing off, often at times causing excessive white mucous to form around the affected areas.
* TheTreatment of choice is a 45 minute formalin bath (e.g. Quick Cure), followed by transfer into a QT tank.
* The fallow (fishless) period for starving Brooklynella out of a Display Tank is 6 weeks.
