I think I messed up

Did water change today. Changed about 4 gallons. Ammonia tested at 0.25ppm.

Probably not very accurate as I changed the water only 4 hours ago.

I would just wait it out and dose the Dr. Tim's per instructions.

I think your clown buddies will be fine. Just feed very sparingly.

Agreed regarding feeding sparingly until you are fully cycled. You don't want to spike the ammonia any more with fish in the tank.

You could replace it. The live rock will process ammonia faster. I’d leave as is

Okay, I got my red sea kit in the mail. My paras:

Nitrate: 20 ppm
pH: 8.2-8.4
Nitrite: 0.05ppm
Ammonia: 0ppm (I probably would've driven myself crazy with the API kit because earlier today it said 0.25 again)
Alkalinity: around 6dKH

That's not bad at all. Look for nitrate to fall and alkalinity to rise with future water changes.
