First the picture
The dead polyp on the middle left has been there for over a month. The two larger spots on the bottom have popped up over the last 24 hours. The small polyps at the bottom have been increasing in size and 'turning' to face the light more over the last couple of weeks.
The only major change I have made is to increase the intense part of my photoperiod by about 15-30 minutes over the last 3 weeks (I have Orbit Marine LEDS that run from 12-8. I have Stunner LEDS that come on from 2-6 and I have slowly backed that up to 1:30-6 to promote some growth.
SG: 1.025
Nitrates: 20
Alkalinity: 10.5 (started turning at 10, went completely yellow at 11)
Calcium: 440
Magnesium: 1300
I target feed Reef Chili, frozen, and phytoplankton 2-3 times a week.
What's causing this and what should I do? I have another war coral on the other side of the tank that seems fine.
