Hey Nato88 I am sorry you are going through this as I know its really tough situation. Don't give up as I know its hard to keep your chin up as your fish are struggling but the truth is at this point they are relying on you and I think you can do it!!

I went ahead and uploaded your vids to facebook as that is unfortunately what we have to do for people on phones. Looks like they are the same video so if you had a second on upload it and we can get it over to Youtube.

Video One:

The way you describe the issue it sounds like you are right in regards to the Brooks. In the video I think I was seeing some redness as well so it might be Uronema as well. The good news is that you using formalin will help with both Brooks and Uronema so that is awesome. I would suggest that you did it in a bath if you are able as I feel like it is more effective but you can also treat the tank as well. I am sure you have already come across this but here is a bit of info.

Also here is the Brooks Thread:

And the Uronema Thread:

You can match up what you are seeing to some of the images provided. Lastly I would suggest this part of the post as well.
"Post bath, transfer the fish into a clean/sterile QT to prevent reinfection. Then dose Chloroquine Phosphate once (60 mg/gal) or metronidazole every 48 hours for 10-14 days thereafter. This is to ensure all of the parasites have been eradicated. Remember to also food soak metronidazole during the QT period in order to eliminate the internal parasites as well."

I hope this helps and again I am sorry you are dealing with this. I will call in some of the big guns to take a peak at this to make sure what I am seeing is correct :)

@Big G or #reefsquad would you agree with what we are discussing here?

Oh and welcome to R2R!! I'm sorry this is how you are joining but you will find a lot of knowledgable folks around here! They always have their hearts in the right place. So on a side note, welcome to our gathering place for everything Salty. We are happy to have you.

Read up on Brook and velvet, and read the stickies on QT and going fallow (fishless) in the DT. You will need to leave the DT fallow for the prescribed time period, and make sure you've fully eliminated the parasite in the fish before reintroducing them to the DT. A pain, but if you do it right you will eliminate this ever happening again.
