My zoa has recently been shrinking and the polyps been looking different. The first is how they used to look a week ago vs now. I just did another test and my ph is at 8.0, however for nitrate I can’t tell but alk is 9. Last week alk was 8.5. Should I dip it?

I did directly feed it but nothing happened, but I only have this test kit.

My zoas like dirty water or they melt. I also had a hard time keeping them when my tank was younger. How old is your tank?

Yes I agree with someone here zoas like dirty water. I like to keep my nitrates above 5 but no more then 10. But that’s for my tank yours may require more or less

Corals can be hit or miss in young tanks and 2 months is very young. Did u seed the tank with live rock or media from a well established tank? If not I'd say give it time and once your tank establishes a bit more you will have a better chance at keeping them alive.

Live rock, all my other frags are good.

try facetiming on one device and place it at the aquarium and plug it in to a charger then you can look at it when you are away
