I think my anemone is getting TOO BIG

Alright so I have a 10g nano tank with 2 clownfish and 1 goby and I have one green buble tip anemone. I have had it for about 6 months now and it is getting to the point where it covers 1/9 of the tank! Whenever I try and and feed the tank it scoops up food when the clownfish are trying to get it and it is just annoying. Should I replace it with a smaller anemone, keep it, replace it with a clam, or just get rid of it? But the clownfish are bonded with the anemone as well and LOVE IT. What should I do?

No I wish I was able to. My college only allows 10g I am going to upgrade in a year or so once I get off campus

Yes pics. Anemone may split and you can sell split. The other idea is to feed the nem let it close up and than feed fish.

I've seen my clown feed the nem and than eat the food it feed to the nem. Its almost like its collecting food to save it in the nem and eat in a few moments. Crazy to watch.

I thought it was green? If so it looks bleached in that photo but could be just the lighting

Agree with lighting assessment. I've seen bta with just a tint of green otherwise massive. It was sold as a lemon bta. This has a very similar look

But hey if it’s thriving then it’s thriving. But honestly your whole question is just personal preference really. You can either get rid of it and get something else or you can keep it and try to work around it hopefully it splits. But at the end of the day it’s up to you really. Also splitting is not guaranteed. Some do and some don’t. Just kinda whatever the nem wants

It has grown a lot for 2 months is that a sign for nem splitting?

If food is an issue feed by hand or use some tweezers. That way the clowns get their fill.

I feed pieces of shrimp or oyster by hand once to twice a week and never worry about my fish not getting food! And I’m not sure what all the signs of splitting are but you could google them! Nems splitting are either due to severe stress or they’re receiving everything they need. They’re just weird tbh and not all split

Mine usually hide right before they split. With that said I've had clones that just split out in the open. I've had some that I thought where for sure splitting than a few days later no split.
There's not a a for sure way to tell if they are going to split.
Nems are just weirdos
