I think my livestock has Ich

This evening I had a call from my wife extremely upset that 2 fish had died in my tank today, other fish in the tank showing white spots and signs of distress. I guess it could be Ich, not sure as I can’t see for myself as I am another country working, is there anything she can do, I have no access to another tank for treatment, is the rest of my stocked doomed. This is a very sad day

It's hard to diagnose anything without clear pics and more details about the tank. How long have the fish been in there?

It can be a few things and video under white light helpful as well as any notable symptoms such as:
Loss of appetite
heavy breathing
Itching against objects
gasping at the surface
Swimming into water flow

If they died that fast I would think velvet not ich.

As I mentioned I’m currently in Canada for work for the next 2 weeks, so no pic’s available right now. Fish have been happy and healthy for over a year, I can’t think of anything that could have introduced something sinister recently

Possibly house cleaning agent too close to tank ,in air in room ??
can she add carbon ,add air ,send you pics ??
