I think my toadstool is broken and forgot how to toadstool

Early on I was concerned about too much flow, but it seems that the more they get beat upon, the happier they are, especially the 2nd one.

I’ve had it there for about a week, I’ve seen improvements, but maybe I’ll angle the power head a littler more towards it

I’ve had mine for 2 years. It was about 3 inches when I first got it and now spreads over 10. During this time it grew so fast I be had to trim it multiple times. I keep mine right under my mp40, so it gets decent flow. For the most part, it is bulletproof but it will close up every now and then. Just find a spot in your tank with room to grow and open flow , and it should thrive.

That has been my struggle. I want it at the back of the tank for when it grows, however typically the back of tanks don’t have great flow. I added another power head to the back to create more flow back there for it. I’m hoping it opens all the way back up again.

What kinda lights do you run?

I have two Current USA-LED, which I know aren’t great so about 6months ago I added 4 T5 lights 2Coral+ and 2Blue+ It gets around 250PAR

That should be plenty. If light, parameters, and flow are all sufficient, then just give it a little time under the new placement. Toadstools are not picky, it should start thriving again soon.
