I decided to start up again but keep it simple and low maintenance.
After a lot of indecisiveness about cost and all that I ordered a waterbox cube, 20g.
All I want is a pair of clowns and an anemone...that's it, but I'm reading now I didn't go big enough. I had a big tank before and it was too much upkeep and it was plagued with troubles so I got rid of it. I've always loved the cube tanks and thought I was going the right route with starting all new and keeping 2 clowns and an anemone.
I think I can cancel my order still if I can't use this tank for what I want. Is this too small and doomed before I even start??

We have a waterbox 10 with a zoa garden, lps, and a pair of clowns.

The plan was to use already mixed water for water changes, I have an rodi unit from last time. I'm reading bubble tips can get over 12" foot on them, I wonder if I could re-home in the future if it gets too big or if I should cancel my order and restart planning.

It’s going to be a looong time before a bubble tip gets that big, and it’ll likely split in the mean time and you can sell one back. Assuming you start with a small one. If you feed it, it’ll grow faster but I don’t feed mine and it gets food when the fish are fed. The clownfish will occasionally take it food too.

I definitely want to get all new and small, I just started to freak out a little about the recommended tank size for them. It's a huge investment for me so I just don't want to start off with a tank too small.

Honestly the all-in-one cubes are great for a single anemone because they can’t get sucked into a power head. Just make sure you keep up with your water changes because they like clean water. And most people say to wait at least 6 months for the tank to “mature” and stabilize before adding an anemone.

Why don't you cancel it until you are sure about the size you want? 20 gal is small. Petco has their dollar sale going on. You could get a lot more bang for your buck by not buying a Waterbox and go with an Aqueon or Seapora tank.

You're fine, don't believe everything you read. There are tons of people with successful nem nanos.
