I thought my Chromis was dying...

I always look at my tanks first thing in the morning. This morning the first thing I noticed was my chromis. It was darting erratically around the tank, its mouth was wide open, looked like it was breathing hard.

Checked to make sure all the obvious things were ok. Then I seen stuff in the water :eek:

Then it hit me what it was, the astraea snails were spawning. The chromis was gorging itself on snail eggs :rolleyes:

It is amazing how fast we can jump to the worse case scenario.

This is the female. The white dots are the eggs.

And if you look closely you can see all the eggs in the tank (in front of the leather, black background and the SPS on the left back wall).
