Its winter and I don't have the need to turn on heaters, unlike the LED people .................................now let me get out of here before they wake up :) yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I run my temps lower (around 76), my heater barely ever kicks on even with my LED's, which do put out some heat still ;) So I still probably save more energy then u lol

What is this "winter" thing you speak of? Is that the four weeks when temperatures drop below 80? :bounce:

If I were still in Michigan or upstate NY I wouldn't mind heat from MH, in fact I'd probably welcome it. I knew I arrived at the right place though when everything here was shut down due to a 1/4" of snow. All of you from snow bound states can start laughing now but it is true, folks here freak when it snows . . . even a little.

Ahhhhh but you've been running a chiller most of the year! Lol and I've never had to run a heater either. The temperature of my house dictates the temp of my tank.

+1 my in wall tank is in the garage. The halides help keep the tank and garage warm in the winter.

Summer I would need a chiller regardless of lighting.

Lol, they definitely do freak down here. I got a whole week off of school for that!

lol, nice.

I'm in socal but originally from Chicago so I don't turn on the heat or AC for nothin here. It's pretty much paradise to me.

Today is 85 and sunny. Time to go to the LFS.

Wow! Long sleeves? Try the hars winters of indiana! Last year was squat, but 2 years ago my girfriend and i were on the news being interviewed about the blizzard, which we also were in new england for as well visiting my family. Want a good way to save money? Plumb ur tank into the snow and flash freeze your livestock. It will hibernate like a koi pond. At least thats the theory. I will let you know how it works.

Haha. Your "saving money" on heat. But paying $60+ per bulb on those MHs LOL.

65 degrees?! :violin: Try -35 in Minnesota!
