I want critters in my sand!

Ya I know.. quite using my tank for lab related testing.
Well now what is the best method for getting some life in my sand. I don't care what it is good or bad.
New live rock?
Getting "live sand" from a LFS that doesn't exist around here?

Amphipods would be great for your sand! We sell Hawaiian Amphipods that are detritivores and scavengers. They reproduce quickly and can tolerate wide ranges of temperature, oxygen, and salinity. They can also be used to cycle in the aquarium with the added benefit that they will later serve as a food source for the fish and a clean up crew where they will feed on detritus, uneaten food, and fish waste. Also, I've got a 14g biocube with a ton of spaghetti worms and critters in the sand. About to tear it down, if you want the sand and will pay the shipping it's yours.

Order some live rock from somewhere in Florida. The company I used to use is gone now but anywhere from that area will come with all kinds of life. Or at least used to.
I used to get pods, crabs, different sea stars, mantis shrimp, other shrimp, it was glorious.
