Where and how do I start a new build thread?

I have a 15gal column tank that I want to turn into a reef tank and I want to take whoever is interested along for the ride.

I have a related question. What is the moratorium on build threads? I mean, what if I built the tank about 15 years ago (and it’s be improved many times over). Can someone in that position do a “build thread”?

Absolutely. There’s a thread on here for a 40 year old tank. Aka before the internet

Old or new, you can create a build thread for any tank

The great thing about build threads is they're ongoing. You can post as much or as little as you want

Lol, I have a 6 year old who is obsessed with pokemon. I used to be when I was a kid. Back when there were 150. What is there now? 800?

I was just informed that the current Pokédex (Pokémon GO) has 373 (straight up, no derivatives included). I’m doing my best to appear “engaged”.

You could absolutely go ahead and start one now. Some guys on here have build threads that don't get wet for around 2 years!

I have thought of doing this with my 75 that I set up around 2000. I started and thought, “Nah, no one is going to want to read about a tank put together 20 years ago.” Maybe I will reconsider.
