I Wish Dyson Made a Reef Vacuum

Because I cannot seem to get all of the little pieces of GHA off my sand. I have the giant python siphon, which I run back through the mechanical filtration, but it pretty much exclusively picks up sand and detritus. Sand should be way heavier than a couple of pieces of GHA, so at this point I think its a personal vendetta the reef gods have with me.

Anyone else neurotic and trying to have a perfect* sand bed look? What works for you? (besides nutrient reduction - I'm working on that.)

* I know perfection is not realistically attainable without being on top of it every single day. When I say perfect, I mean ~mostly~ clean.
