Funny morning anecdote.
I took out a rock to clear it of some GHA. After about a minute at the sink, I hear gasping in the rock. At first I think it's just a (tiny, non-tridacna, hitchiking) clam that is clearing itself, and ignore it. But then it does it more and more, and so I'm curious to see what it is.
Surprisingly, it's my royal gramma. When I started moving rocks, it hid in this rock (presumably its favorite) and would not budge even after I started moving the rock around and carefully, slowly, took the rock out of the tank. [Of course, I brought the rock back to the tank, shook it a bit, and then it left the rock. I am sure it's very happy now that I've put the rock back in the rock's original place]
As an aside, a few days ago when my hand was near the rock its attacked me mulitple times for getting too close.
