Hey all thought I would share my tank, but first a little history. I started saltwater a year ago with this tank although it looked a little differently then. I took it down about two months ago to make changes to the sump (the only way to get the sump out was to take down the tank). Long story short I decided to totally start over with a blank slate (no more apistasia or bubble algae).

Tank: 36" x 18" x 19" with glass-holes overflow
Sump: 20g long (skimmer, return, fuge)
Skimmer: Reef Octopus 150
Return: Eheim 1260
Heater: Jager 150w
Power head: Tunze Stream 6095 x2
Auto-top off: auto-topoff.com double switch sump model
Reactors: TLF x2 GFO and Carbon
Lighting: AI Sol Blue
Controller: Apex Lite w/VDM and lab grade pH probe

I never liked the height or color of my stand, I only got it because it matched the trim on my tank, so I decided to build one and a small cabinent to hold the controller etc.

I never really liked the color of the trim on my tank either. A little krylon fusion flat black took care of that...

Spending $100+ to hang my lights didn't make sense to me when I set up this tank and it still didn't this time so I searched the internet until I found diy plans that I liked better than the old setup I diy'ed. Still using conduit but cutting it looked better than bending it to me.

I really like the way scape came out this time. There are a lot of pass throughs and caves for the fish this time.

I didn't want to bring any of the issues I had from the first time I set up this tank forward so I decided to give Dr Tim's One and Only a shot.

The last of the crappy iphone pictures. The next pictures will be with the dslr I just picked up off ebay. I'm still trying to figure out which lens to get for it. Any recommendations???

I took a trip to Orlando this weekend and visited WWC while I was there and all I can say is they definitely have an amazing shop with some really beautiful displays. I'll post some pics of what I picked up as soon as I figure out the lens situation for the new camera.
