I'm getting close to pulling my hair out here.... But all of the instruction videos clearly show a different app than what I just downloaded, and I cannot figure out, even through the website, where the pump modes are for sine, random, etc.

Post pic of controller ?

If it's the "Powered by Hydros" one, CoralVue killed it to sell more Hydros Wave modules

So its what you said, what's the next step/path/fix forward then?

Ugh!
That's the one. Tell me about it, it's a brick

Intentionally orphaned, made obsolete. When they could have just let it run as is

All the Hydros fanbois, "It's not even Hydros it's IceCap, Coralvue isn't responsible for IceCap"

Dude, Coralvue IS Icecap, same company

Path forward? Buy new gyres with controllers. I've done this

Or hook them up to your controller system if you can find the adaption parts. I'm working on this

And never ever buying a Hydros product ever

I'll guess its this:

So you're going to buy the replacement that CoralVue is forcing you to buy

By intentionally killing your existing controller?

You are certainly built differently than me

Facts not in evidence yet. I'll let a few more replies come in before I decide on a path.

ATM, pretty bad taste in my mouth, no doubt about that.

I've got the same controller, same gyres. Tech support said it was because the firm ware wasn't updated, tried everything they suggested, but it didn't work. I don't blame CV, and would get Hydros; but, not only would I have to get a new controller, if I wanted to use the pumps would have to get adapters. I just think I'll go to Jaboa for the time being. I'd rather spend money on other stuff at the moment

well, I updated the firmware today.... If that helps... as well as previous replies already stating they flat out removed this functionality.... :(

Who required it to need a firmware update that doesn't exist?

CoralVue

They could have just left it alone. IceCap is CoralVue

Really?

What app did you use?

I was using the Hydros app, which then required one to go to the website version of the app. Neither of them would find or load a firmware update

My they just don't like me
