Icecap 2k set up

I have two 4k and I think I had the same prob. Make one change at a time each time click the yellow save change bar or change port in controller

Oh, and since you have the speed range set up to 100% you might want to start the program on a low %. Even with one propeller it's going to push a lot of water.

Okay, problem solved! Putting sleeve outside of cage did the trick! Thank you for helping me solve this user issue problem! Good tip about turning down flow rate as well! It now works like it should.

On your picture you sent the yellow upload bar is still there it should be green or gone
This pic is the one you sent

WOOHOO!!!

Anyone use a third party controller on their icecap 2k?

I'm wondering if there is a way to create different settings, like pulse etc?

Also would a third party controller allow you to reduce flow rate more then the minimum 25% that comes standard with the icecap controller?

You can create and do all that thru the schedules

Okay, I'll have to look into how to set schedules.

Can you bring down the flow rate lower then 25% through schedules?

To bring it down most likely you will need to enter pump settings and lower in in the min flow slider section. Default is 25 I think because gyre may not run right under that %

Then you adjust on this screen

Yes, I can bring it down to as low as 25% from that screen.

I was wondering if you can go lower then that from the icecap controller or if there are third party controllers that will allow you to go down to 20%, 15%, 10% 5%?

Oh I’m so sorry duhhh didn’t even realize Lowest was 25 already. I will bow out now and watch to see if someone else knows :(

I wanna say I read somewhere that under 25 the pump has issues getting stuck and not running

Yes you can make a schedule that u want they go to the pump and set it low as needed. Make schedule %25 then set pump %25 . The pump will only run at %25 of %25

Its okay, I appreciate everyone's help! Hopefully there is a solution out there somewhere.
