Icecap 3k gyre filling with air

I have to turn it on and off 3-4 times a day to bleed out large air bubbles, or it shoots out microbubbles. Is definitely not sucking air in from surface, as the amount of trapped air gradually increases even after moving significantly down the tank. Happens regardless of skimmer being on or off, been doing this for a couple months now. Any ideas?

Mine did the same. Then I changed the settings to go in reverse flow periodically and it stopped.

I'll have to look into that, didnt know that was an option. Any idea where the air comes from?

I think its just cavitation bubbles coming from the rapid spinning of the blades in the gyre. Also, I ramp up to 90% on both forward and backwards allowing for any bubbles to escape.
