Icecap 3k impellar

Hey guys, I think I messed up taking my ice cap 3k impeller out.
Dose any one know if the magnet is supposed to be in the center of shaft.

Yes it is supposed to be in the middle. I have no idea how you got yours out as mine will not come out no matter what. I followed the directions and it does not move. I think the newer ones are not removable. I ended up snapping my shaft and had to order a whole new motor and magnet/shaft assembly.
